Naveen Selvakularaja
Parc-Ex Curry Collective Logistics LiaisonNaveen is of Sri Lankan origin, but was born and raised in Chennai, India. He has been a Parc-Ex resident for over 20 years. He is an Uber driver by day and at night, he is a trainer of both Kalaripayattu, an ancient martial art from Kerala as well as Bharatanatyam, a form of Indian classical dance. Naveen was Parc-Ex Curry Collective’s driver back when the initiative was just getting started and supported the Collective through its trial and errors. He is now coming back to see it through and help bring the Curry Collective to the next level.

Nadira King
Chairperson/PresidentNadira King is the dedicated force now guiding the Parc-Ex Curry Collective, continuing the mission of its visionary founder, her late daughter Leonora King. Stepping forward as the Legacy Steward and Vision Keeper following Leonora’s passing, Nadira has supported the Collective through a time of renewal and structural rebuilding and now serves as its President and Chairperson.
Drawing on four decades of expertise, Nadira practiced the colorful art of healing as a certified acupuncturist, a commitment honed by studies at the Guangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She brings this deep understanding of well-being and community care to her role today. Now semi-retired in Limoges, Ontario, with her husband Roger, Nadira ensures that Leonora’s dream of food justice, dignity, and immigrant solidarity continues to grow.
She maintains that the simple joy of sharing a meal is key to well-being — she loves to cook for her friends and family. Nadira is passionately honoring Leonora’s vibrant legacy, ensuring the Collective’s unique blend of mutual aid and delicious, empowering meals continues to nourish the community. Her journey is a true blend of care, culture, and cuisine.
